Nanny/Family assistant in Needed ASAP in Brentwood! The family is moving to Santa Monica in Sept/Oct 2021. The care will be for their two toddler daughters (ages 3 + 4 years old) who are in preschool until 1:30PM Monday-Friday, but they do also have older sons (ages 11 + 14) who are there 50% of the time, both are fairly independent but will need to be driven places. They do also hope to grow their family in the next year, so please be comfortable working with infants as well!
The schedule will vary so you must have some flexibility and you must be willing to work some weekends. Typically, the schedule will be 12-8p five days a week. Example of a month’s schedule: Week 1) Wednesday-Sunday 12-8p (Monday and Tuesday off). Week 2) Monday-Friday 12-8p (Saturday and Sunday off). Week 3) Sunday-Thursday 12-8p (Friday and Saturday off). Week 4) Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Tuesday and Saturday off) 12-8p. The family will work with you to plan the schedule so that it works for everyone! Rate is $30-$35/hour Gross (on payroll). 40 hours/week guaranteed. After a two-week trial period, you will be paid via W2 as a household employee and will receive PTO (72 hours sick + 80 hours personal/vacation + healthcare stipend).
They are looking for a true career-nanny who is looking to make their next long-term commitment. You should be positive, organized, proactive, caring, covid-vaccinated and have a meticulous attention to detail! They would also love to have someone who enjoys cooking families meals and that is open to occasional travel ($50/night bonus when traveling, upcoming travel plans include Pennsylvania, La Quinta, and Hawaii), however these are not requirements for the job.
The duties will involve assisting with preschool learning activities, dishes, cooking, laundry, organization, grocery shopping, running errands, and pick up/drop off (they have a Tesla Model 3 for their nanny car).
