Entertainment family based in Beverly Hills is seeking a top-notch nanny to work a ROTA schedule (4-5 days on/off), caring for their 2 kids, ages 4 and 5 years. This is a live-out job and the daily schedule is 6:30am-6:30pm + 2 date nights each week until 8:30/9pm (occasionally later). Please note that this family is very busy during the holiday season (11/1-12/31) and PTO/vacation is not allowed during this time; however, you will have Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day off. Flexibility is KEY! Rate is $30-35/hr + applicable OT ($45-52.50/hr) depending on experience and education (paid on payroll).
You will be responsible for full childcare, including but not limited to maintaining established schedules/routines, assisting with bathing and dressing, planning and preparing all kids meals/snacks, ensuring the dishes/kitchen are clean after use, children’s laundry, and assisting with light pet care (i.e. letting them out/feeding). You should be able to keep up with 2 young children and easily keep them entertained and engaged, whether at home or out and about. A knowledge of ages and stages is a must, and a background in child development is a PLUS! The kids are in school Mon-Fri from 8:30am-1:00pm, which is when you’ll handle any non-childcare related tasks at your own speed – laundry, dishes, running errands, organizational projects, taking out the trash, meal planning, etc. Once you’re done with those tasks, you’re more than welcome to leave until the kids are back at 1pm! Family does travel occasionally, both domestic and international, so the ability and willingness to travel is a MUST! Covid vaccine is preferred, but not required.
This is a very traditional household and their ideal nanny is very professional, polished, proactive, detail-oriented, innately neat and tidy, good with setting boundaries, and great at following direction. Despite being busy with work, mom and dad are very hands on and at home often; you should be comfortable working hand in hand with them, and confidently know when to step in/step out. Additionally, you will coordinate regularly with the family’s personal assistant, logistics manager, and Chief of Staff, so you should be a strong team player and great communicator. The parents are very private and therefore most of the communication will come from the Chief of Staff and Family assistant. The Chief of Staff is there to create a team for the entire staff – family assistant, personal assistant and nannies to be one united unit to support the family. If you are detail oriented, thrive under structure, and love to be a part of a team – don’t wait – apply NOW! Hiring ASAP!
