Professional Childcare Resume Creation
To begin the representation process, we will need you to create a professional childcare resume in a template we have carefully concocted. You may access this template by visiting our Apply Now section. We review childcare resumes on daily basis and do our best to respond to applicants within 3-4 business days. Incomplete resumes or childcare resumes in a different format will not be considered.
If your childcare resume meets our requirements and standards and we feel that we may be able to assist you in your job search, we will contact you via e-mail to invite you in for a face-to-face interview. During this interview, you will meet with a Recruitment Specialist who will ask you about your childcare background, education, commitment and availability, long-term goals, and hobbies and interests. You will also be asked to complete our mandatory paperwork, which include our agency & confidentiality agreements, background check and drug test authorizations, Trustline registration, and general employment paperwork. Additionally, this is when we will ask for all former and current childcare references with up-to-date contact information.
After a successful interview, we will contact your references to verify your employment and will ask them about your job performance, attitude, strengths and weaknesses, professionalism, and reliability.
Once we have spoken with your references, a decision letter will be e-mailed to you letting you know whether or not you have been chosen for representation.
Due to the large number of applicants we receive for our positions, please be aware that we represent fewer than 10% of the prospective nannies that apply. Interviews are by appointment only and may only be scheduled through our office. Westside Nannies looks for individuals with a variety of skills who are passionate and committed to caring for children, and who have demonstrated a commitment to the highest standards of excellence and professionalism.
