Dr. Lindsay Heller

Lindsay, known as the Nanny Doctor, has been working with families and their nannies for more than a decade. In addition to being a licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Heller was a well-respected nanny for over 10 years in both the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas. She has lived-in, lived-out, has been both the weekend nanny and the weekly nanny. She has traveled as a nanny both domestically and internationally. She has worked in single parents households as well as fully staffed high profile estates. She has nannied for families with infants, toddlers, elementary age, middle school age, and teens.

In the spirit of Attachment Theory, Dr. Lindsay Heller seeks to promote positive relationships between families and their nannies that create strong, healthy, secure emotional bonds between children and their caregivers that will nurture future meaningful relationships.

Tom Breedlove

Tom is a partner at Breedlove & Associates, the leading payroll and tax services firm in the highly specialized household employment arena. Breedlove and Associates is strives to offer everything time-strapped families need including tax preparation and filing, payroll management, HR and labor law guidance, and unlimited access to expert support & advice. Tom graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Finance and a minor in Accounting and had a successful 20-year career in marketing and strategic planning for clients such as Wal-Mart, Dell Computer, PGA Tour, Golfsmith, and Doubletree Hotels & Resorts, before joining Breedlove in 2005. A keen listener and communicator, Tom focuses on understanding and addressing the wants and needs of families and their employees, as well as the household employment placement agencies and personal accountants they work with. Today, Tom and Breedlove and Associates have helped over 14,000 families comply with the law. After hours, Tom enjoys sports, playing guitar and raising three teenagers with his wife, Marilyn.

Lisa Pierson Weinberger

Lisa founded Mom, Esq, to help moms and dads understand the legal issues that go hand in hand with parenthood. From ensuring that parents are maximizing maternity and paternity leave benefits, to lawfully employing individuals in their home, to finding a good work/life balance when returning to the workplace after a leave of absence, Mom, Esq.'s goal is to alleviate parents' worries about their legal rights and obligations so that they can get back to the more important business of being a parent.

Prior to founding Mom, Esq., Lisa spent 7 years at the well-known entertainment law firm of Greenberg Glusker working as an employment lawyer with many of Hollywood's A-List celebrities. After having her son, she realized that she could use her skills and experience as an employment lawyer to provide legal support to others like herself during the transition to parenthood. Lisa has extensive experience advising on all aspects of the employment relationship, including the hiring process, background and drug checks, wage and hour issues, insurance obligations, counseling, discipline, and terminations, and preparing employment applications, timekeeping records, offer letters and employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, arbitration agreements, employee handbooks, termination letters, and severance and release agreements.

Bob King

Bob is an attorney and founder of Legally Nanny®, a company that provides legal and tax advice to household employers and domestic employment agencies. Bob received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, studied at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, on a Rotary International Fellowship, and received his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School.

Bob founded Legally Nanny in 2003 to assist domestic employers with a wide variety of household legal and tax issues, including payroll; drafting employment, confidentiality and severance agreements; and calculating and preparing back taxes and reports. The firm also defends employers who are facing audits, investigations, and lawsuits from governmental entities as well as nannies.

Bob is on the advisory board of the International Nanny Association (INA) and also serves as the General Counsel for the Alliance of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA). In addition, he has served as an expert witness in household employment litigation.
Bob and Legally Nanny have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, The New York Daily News, and California Lawyer Magazine, among other publications.
